Anti-Fraud Notice

Recruitment scams target job seekers. Here is how to protect yourself, and how to recognise genuine contact from CameroonWorkers.

We Never Charge Candidates

CameroonWorkers does not charge candidates for registration, verification, matching, interviews, job offers or placement. If anyone asks you to pay money — by bank transfer, mobile money or cash — in our name, it is not us. Do not pay, and tell us.

Official contacts only: email hire@cameroonworkers.com, WhatsApp +237 682 887 854, and the pages on cameroonworkers.com. Check the web address carefully before sending documents.

Warning Signs of a Recruitment Scam

  • You are asked to pay a fee before you have a signed job offer.
  • Pressure to pay or decide "within 24 hours".
  • A guaranteed job or guaranteed visa.
  • Offers that seem far better than normal pay for the job.
  • No named employer, or an employer you cannot verify.
  • Contact only through a personal chat account or a free email address.
  • Requests to send passport photos or bank details to unofficial accounts.
  • Anyone holding your original passport or documents.

Report a Suspicious Message

If someone is using our name to ask for money, email hire@cameroonworkers.com or message us on WhatsApp with screenshots. You can also report to your local police or consumer authority.
