1. Agreement

By submitting an enquiry to CameroonWorkers ("Agency"), you ("Employer") agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms govern all recruitment services provided by CameroonWorkers.

2. Services Provided

CameroonWorkers provides candidate sourcing, screening, profile presentation, interview coordination, document verification support, and visa process guidance. The Agency does not guarantee specific visa outcomes, as these are determined by government authorities in the destination country.

3. Employer Obligations

The Employer agrees to: provide a genuine job offer at or above local minimum wage; comply with all employment laws in their country; provide or assist with suitable accommodation arrangements; not discriminate against candidates on grounds of race, religion, or national origin; and treat all workers with dignity and respect.

4. Fee Structure

Agency fees are as stated on our pricing page. All fees are due and payable only after the placed worker has successfully commenced employment. Fees must be paid within 14 days of the worker's start date.

5. Replacement Guarantee

If a placed worker leaves or is dismissed within 30 days of starting (for reasons attributable to the worker), CameroonWorkers will provide a replacement candidate at no additional placement fee. This guarantee does not apply if the worker is dismissed due to employer conduct, illegal working conditions, or failure to honour the original job offer.

6. Limitation of Liability

CameroonWorkers acts as an intermediary. The Agency is not liable for: visa refusals by government authorities; worker conduct after placement; employment law violations by the employer; or force majeure events preventing worker travel or placement.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep candidate profile details, contract terms, and fee information confidential and not to share with third parties without written consent.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

9. Modifications

CameroonWorkers reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Recruitment Service Agreement — Summary

This summarises the key terms of the formal Recruitment Agreement between CameroonWorkers (the "Agency") and the hiring company (the "Employer"). A full signed agreement is provided before any placement begins.

Scope of Agreement

The Agency agrees to source, screen, and present qualified candidates from Cameroon for the specific roles, quantities, and locations confirmed by the Employer in the initial request form. The Employer agrees to review candidates in good faith and conduct interviews within 7 business days of receiving profiles.

Placement Fee

The agreed placement fee per worker is confirmed in writing before any candidate profiles are shared. Fee is payable within 14 days of worker start date. No fee is charged unless the worker successfully begins employment.

Employer Commitments

The Employer confirms that: the job offer is genuine and legally authorised; the salary meets the legal minimum wage of the destination country; working hours and conditions comply with local labour law; the Employer will cooperate with the work permit/visa sponsorship process as required.

Agency Commitments

CameroonWorkers confirms that: all presented candidates have been personally interviewed and document-verified; all candidates have voluntarily agreed to the relocation and job terms; the Agency will provide ongoing support during the placement transition period; and the 30-day replacement guarantee applies to all placements.

Visa & Work Permit Disclaimer

CameroonWorkers provides guidance and support throughout the visa and work permit application process. However, the following must be clearly understood by all employers and candidates.

Government Authority

Visa and work permit decisions are made exclusively by the immigration authorities of the destination country (Serbia, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Czech Republic, or other). CameroonWorkers has no authority over, or ability to guarantee, any visa outcome.

Employer Responsibility

The employer is typically required to: provide an official job offer letter on company letterhead; complete any employer-side visa sponsorship documentation required by their country; confirm the position is genuine and registered with relevant authorities.

Worker Responsibility

Workers are responsible for submitting their own visa applications accurately and on time, providing truthful documentation, and covering their own visa application fees (unless otherwise agreed with the employer).

Processing Times

Visa processing times vary by country and can range from 2 weeks to 3 months. CameroonWorkers provides estimated timelines based on current processing norms but cannot guarantee these timelines as they are subject to change by government authorities.

Refusal Cases

If a visa is refused, CameroonWorkers will assist in identifying the reason and, where possible, reapplying or presenting an alternative candidate. No placement fee is charged for candidates who do not successfully obtain a visa and cannot commence work.

Refund & Replacement Policy

CameroonWorkers's fee is charged only after a worker successfully starts employment. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds or replacements are provided.

No Placement — No Fee

If a presented candidate does not receive a visa, does not pass the employer's interview, or chooses not to proceed, no fee is charged. The employer owes nothing until a worker physically starts work.

30-Day Replacement Guarantee

If a placed worker leaves or is dismissed within 30 calendar days of their start date — for reasons attributable to the worker (not the employer) — CameroonWorkers will provide one free replacement candidate search. This replacement search is conducted at no additional placement fee.

Conditions for Replacement

The replacement guarantee applies when: the worker leaves without sufficient cause within 30 days; the worker is found to have misrepresented their qualifications or documents; the worker is medically unable to perform the role. The guarantee does NOT apply if: the worker is dismissed due to employer misconduct, illegal working conditions, non-payment of wages, or failure to honour the original job offer terms.

Refund Eligibility

A partial refund (50% of placement fee) is available if: the employer paid the fee but the worker never commenced work due to a late visa refusal after payment; or if CameroonWorkers is unable to provide a suitable replacement candidate within 45 days of the original worker's departure.

How to Claim

To request a replacement or refund, email hire@cameroonworkers.com with subject "Replacement/Refund Request" within 35 days of the worker's start date. Include the worker's name, start date, and reason for departure.

Employer Responsibilities

To ensure a legal, ethical, and successful placement, employers working with CameroonWorkers are required to meet the following responsibilities.

Legal Employment

The employer must: hold a valid business registration in their country; obtain any required employer authorisation to hire non-EU workers; pay the placed worker at or above the national minimum wage; provide a legal employment contract in compliance with local labour law; register the worker with relevant tax and social security authorities upon commencement.

Work Permit Sponsorship

In most European countries, employers must sponsor or support the work permit application. This includes providing an official job offer letter, confirmation of employment terms, and any employer-side documentation required by immigration authorities. CameroonWorkers will guide you through this process step by step.

Accommodation

While not always mandatory, employers are strongly encouraged to assist workers with finding accommodation upon arrival, particularly for the first 1–4 weeks. Workers relocating internationally face significant challenges in securing housing before arrival. Employers who provide or assist with accommodation experience significantly higher worker retention rates.

Workplace Conduct

The employer must treat all placed workers with dignity and respect, in line with local labour law and anti-discrimination regulations. Any form of exploitation, intimidation, or non-payment of wages is a violation of this agreement and grounds for immediate termination of the recruitment relationship.

Communication

Employers should maintain reasonable communication with CameroonWorkers during the onboarding period (first 30 days). This allows us to identify and resolve any early issues before they escalate, protecting both the worker and the employer's investment.
